My thoughts

With being a relatively new mom, I have lots of questions. I usually go online to research about my concerns
for my baby because I don't want to go to the doctor every time I am worried (plus, that would be very expensive). The reason I would go online to research is to find some pictures.

That is why Dr. Carey's Baby Care: First Year Baby Care Guide is so handy! This guide has over 120 pictures to show various baby ailments such as skin rashes, craddle crap, teething, diaper rashes, what baby poop should like and more! It is nice to have a book that I can quickly refer to for my questions.

As you can see from this picture, there are a lot of topics that are covered in this book (and that is only half of the table of contents). The book is very well organized, and is easy to read and understand. I pretty much like everything in here except the advice about food. I have certain baby food viewpoints that are not like everyone else. But, food lists vary between every physician and he reminds his readers about that.

I think this is a great book for new moms and for moms of several kids. I have used it several times to look up information for my baby and to help out a friend when she was asking me questions! You can buy it here and you have a chance to win one!

  1. I don't know what my favorite sci fi book is right now. The Last books I read though was a series by Heather Frost that you should check out! They were a pretty quick read, by a new author that is from Utah!

    1. Oops. I was supposed to change the question to be baby related. Now I did! Don't worry, your entry will still count.
